About Reviews & User-Contributed Content

The reviews and user-contributed content contained on our travel sites are written by travellers and for travellers. Just as travel suppliers (such as hotels, tour operators and the like) contribute information about their products and services, visitors to our sites contribute information about their experiences.

In addition to the descriptions, photos and other information provided by our travel suppliers, we provide a facility for travellers to share their experiences and opinions so that others can make better decisions. We believe that the information contributed by our travellers and visitors is as important as the information provided by our travel suppliers and advertisers. None of this information reflects the opinion or position of our company.

For Travellers

• Travellers should understand that each review is just the opinion of another traveller. You use this information at your own risk.
• Contributors are required to register with totaltravel.com to submit a review or other content.
• We use various means to check the credibility of reviews and user-contributed content and may contact the contributor to verify details.
• All contributions are checked by a human moderator.
• We generally post a review or other user-contributed content if it meets our guidelines. We also reserve the right not to post such contributions.
• We will never provide a travel supplier with your contact details without your permission.

For Travel Suppliers

• We don't remove reviews unless we have evidence to suggest the information is fraudulent or not genuine. If you believe this is the case, contact us.
• Travel suppliers can respond to reviews written about their products or services, provided the information is helpful and meets our guidelines. You can log in to write a response
• We will not provide travel suppliers with the contact details of a reviewer without their permission to do so.
• Travel suppliers that don't agree with the sentiments of a review should not ask us to censor traveller opinions. We suggest you address any criticism of your services in a constructive manner via the response feature in the suppliers log in area.
